Have you ever been watching somebody surf and you thought to yourself “I would love to do that!”

But you never take the splash into the water? Would you like to learn surfing, or can you surf already? Welcome on our Roxy Girls Camp in Mimizan! It’s gunna be a weeklong surfing, relaxing, new friends, shopping, checking out the Roxy Jam and havin a great time!

You get surf lesson every day. After the course you can surf with other girls and surf our crew. The surf crew helps you also with info about the surf and its lifestyle. Apart from surfing we also organize other activities, beach parties, BBQ's, day trips and so on, to help you have a holiday you’ll never forget! 
 

Who is going with us?

The girls that visit our camp are about 18-30 years old and come from The Netherlands, Belgium, German and Great Britain. So you’ll be with a nice mix of international surf chicks with all the same passion for surfing and its lifestyle as you. Most girls are novice to intermediate but go back home with the real ‘surf vibe’, ‘hooked on surfing’ for life. Are you more experienced?, No problem, Breakloose takes care of your challenge and progression – we’ll find the perfect wave for you. 

What can you expect from the Roxy Girls Surfcamp?

As a novice you learn how to paddle on your board, how to get a wave and how to stand on your board. Timing is very important. You get a theoretical, and a practical course. With video tapes we’ll analyze the surfing techniques with you.

During the practice on the beach you'll learn more about the material, safety in the water and the basic techniques. After the theoretical side, you'll hit the ocean. With help from our surf teachers you are going to experience your first waves and what better place than the Atlantic Ocean. When you get your first wave, you’ll see surfing is more than a passion: “it’s a way of life”. 

Most of the days there are one or two courses a day, it depends on the weather and the waves. Besides that we do Yoga, longboard skateboarding and you’ll visit a surfboard shaper. At the end of the week we organize a small competition were you can win super prizes! Of course we will wake you once very early for the extremely cool kick of a morning session! Enjoy the morning with the sunrise, the peace and the smooth waves! 

During the week we go several times to the Roxy Jam in Biarritz, a surf event with a lot of activities like live concerts, exhibitions and a surf competitions. The best chicks in the world are involved in this long board competition.  
 

Stay

We stay on the Breakloose Surf camp in Mimizan. In 10 minutes you’re in the sand and ready get your first wave. The cozy center of Biarritz is nearby, there you can go shopping.

Our cozy little surf town is perfect for all your needs. The tents are very close to each other. So you never have far to walk to your friends tent. The camping has nice toilets, free warm showers, a swimming pool, a beach volleyball pitch, basketball court, football pitch, phone boxes, internet facilities and a small supermarket.

The 3 and 4 persons tents have enough space that you can stand up as they are 2 meters high. So no getting dressed lying down. There is a separate area inside the tent. A air bed is included but you will need to bring your own bedding.

You can book for BreakFood as well. Five dinners included a BBQ, every time with a salad buffet, desert and a drink.
