Our Beach Camp, in “ Munipal de la Plage”, is in a perfect location. You are only a 10 minute walk away from the beach to catch the first wave or start working on your tan. You are also quite close to the main centre of Mimizan.

The sanitary facilities here are great, free warm showers, sports facilities like a floodlit beach volleyball pitch, telephone booths, internet and a small supermarket.

 

What Makes the Quiksilver Breakloose so unique?
The set up here is completely beach style and is equipped for all your leisurely needs. We have a large undercover lounge area with surfing videos, hammocks & fat boys to chill out on and the Bamboo Surf-Bar with cold beverages.

Activities are organised on site by the Travel Reps’ during your stay.  We encourage you to participate but then again we understand that relaxing, chillin' and doing what you wanna do is important too. No pressure!!!

There are also surf parties, excursions and pub crawls. You will meet many other travellers in a friendly environment. Rest assure you will always find something to do. You are also welcome to use our BBQ for your own wee parties.

For the surfer there will also be a visit from the Quicksilver Riderstream who will give you your own personal surf instructor. Here you can test your skills on many different boards ranging from gulf-surfboards and longboards to skateboards. At the end of the week  we organize a Quicksilver Expression Session with a video analysis. In this session you can see how you developed throughout the week and how you perfected your surf moves. Make sure you do something memorable as there are prizes to be won. We also have a photographer on site to take pictures of you working your magic on the board.

The Breakloose camp site is not situated near public camp sites. We have our own separate area. We offer 3 and 4 person bungalow-tents for every group. They are 2 meters high so you can stand up in your tent and blow up air beds are included. You will need to bring your own bedding.
